Getting your repeat prescription can sometimes take time and effort. The Practice Pharmacy Service is a new, quick and easy way to get your repeat prescription.

The Practice Pharmacy Service can manage your repeat prescription for you

by reminding you before it is due

by dispensing the medication and delivering it to you at home or at work when your medication is due

by getting you your medicines much faster

If you choose to sign-up for this service - it is quick and easy. All you have to do is fill in a sign-up form and hand it along with your repeat prescription request to your surgery reception. Your prescription will then be dispensed by Lansdales Pharmacy. It's as simple as that.

What are the benefits

By letting The Practice Pharmacy Service manage your prescriptions for you:

we can save you time and trouble.

you can choose to have your medicines delivered to your home or place of work*

we will let you know when your next repeat is due and when you need to see your doctor for a review of your medicines.

you won't need to visit the surgery to collect your prescription we can have it delivered to you on or before the day it is due.

you will get your repeat medication faster. We will aim to dispense and dispatch your order within one working day. Deliveries will take place between 10am and 7pm Monday to Friday. This means you won't have to visit your doctor's surgery to order your repeat prescription, and you won't run out of your medication.

Medication reviews

From time to time you will need to see the doctor or pharmacist for a medication review before another repeat can be issued. We will let you know when this needs to happen.

Payment

If you are required to pay for your prescriptions, payment will be due on delivery.

By signing up to this online service you will be issued with a user name and password which also allows you to manage your appointments and amend personal details online

or simply let us remind you before you run out so we can deliver it to you before it is due

Signing up for our prescription management service couldn't be easier. All you have to do is complete the sign-up form opposite and leave the rest to us.

Security

The Practice online service is provided through SystmOnline. This service has been developed, tested & accredited by the government body 'NHS Connecting for Health'. All personal info used is secure & protected. It is only available to staff at The Practice who have the appropriate security controls, i.e. those managing appointments and repeat prescribing. Personal information for prescribing purposes is shared with Lansdales Pharmacy.
