Rather than supporting a number of different charities The Practice has chosen to focus our support on one. For 2010, our charity of the year is Epilepsy research UK.

What does Epilepsy Research UK do

Epilepsy Research UK supports and promotes basic and clinical scientific research into the causes, treatments and prevention of epilepsy, in hopes of one day being able to find a cure for this debilitating condition.

What is epilepsy

Epilepsy is a common condition that affects around one in 200 people, and causes recurrent seizures.

If you would like to support the work of Epilepsy Research UK, donation tins can be found on both floors of the Bell Lane office as well as in each surgery.
